AVEVA MARS Material enables all basic data from the start of a project to be created and refined, such as design/engineering, drawings, materials, equipment, part listing, procurement, and stock and warehouse management. It includes, among others:
- Special functions for handling the highly specialized outfitting process
- Catalogues for handling project-specific items as well as standard material items
- Procurement scheduling for long-lead items
- Material requirement analysis, including steel requirements
AVEVA MARS Planning helps improve the transparency of order processing and enables users to make decisions and act on the basis of up-to-date plans. AVEVA MARS Planning closes the loop between planning, control and feedback, even across multi project situations. It includes, among others:
- Graphic, interactive planning tools
- Support for project and resource-specific stress curves
- Support for assignment of resource requirement, costs, checkpoints, material, etc.
- Integrated, detailed planning - drawings and personnel can be assigned to engineering tasks
